As someone who loves diving into different stories, I was excited to finally grab a copy of Jet Black & The Ebony Knights by Emmanuel C. Ezirim at last year’s American Library Association (ALA) conference, and it turned out to be a real treasure. This colorful story, set in the enchanting land of Wazobia, beautifully combines West African folklore with universal themes of bravery, togetherness, and self-discovery. The characters felt incredibly authentic, and the interactive ending made the whole experience unforgettable. Emmanuel’s talent for blending cultural depth with imaginative storytelling is truly impressive. I can’t wait to meet him this year and express how much his work has touched me. This book is a must-read for anyone who enjoys immersive adventures! Amanda Riley,
